Szczelina afektu
Topos macierzyństwa jest wyczerpująco wyzyskany przez literaturę i inne sztuki. Przez długie wieki była to twórczość wyrastająca na przykład z romantyzowanej perspektywy nadrzędnego, męskiego oka, w ostatnim stuleciu pod tym czujnym, uwewnętrznionym spojrzeniem będąca próbą głosu z wewnątrz. Zarówno w literaturze, jak i innych sztukach temat relacji matki i córki wciąż zawiera w sobie lukę w postaci braku narracji z perspektywy odmatczynej. Esej jest poszukiwaniem odpowiedzi na pytanie, czym jest ów brak, jaką ma genezę oraz jakie są jego literackie przejawy na podstawie prozy Eleny Ferrante.

A Fissure of Affect
The theme of motherhood has long been mined in literature and other art forms. For hundreds of years, it was an artistic creation that was shaped by the romanticized perspective of the superior male gaze. In the last century, this gaze has been internalized in an attempt to express the inner voice. However, there remains a notable gap in the narrative surrounding the relationship between mothers and daughters, particularly from a maternal perspective. This essay seeks to uncover the nature of this gap, its origins, and its literary manifestations, focusing on the prose of Elena Ferrante.
