Abstrakt:
O ciemności, skórze, metaforach i lekturach
W artykule podjęto próbę opisu doświadczenia chemioterapii z perspektywy autobiograficznej, ale w ścisłym związku z zagadnieniami obecnymi w dyskursach współczesnej humanistyki. W eseju sformułowano pytania o możliwość włączenia przeżywania choroby nowotworowej i konsekwencji jej leczenia w aktualne diagnozy i krytyki antropocenu. Szkic jest również osobistą narracją o kryzysie, chorobie, cielesnej słabości i obcości oraz czytaniu jako procesie naprawczym.

Abstract:
On Darkness, Skin, Metaphors, and Reading
This article describes the experience of chemotherapy from an autobiographical perspective, but in close connection with issues present in the discourses of contemporary humanities. The essay formulates questions about the possibility of including the experience of cancer and the consequences of its treatment in current diagnoses and critiques of the Anthropocene. It is also a personal narrative about crisis, illness, bodily weakness, and alienation, and reading as a restorative process.
