Abstrakt:
„A z moich dłoni wyrastają korzenie” – kłącze przekładów Wegetarianki i drzewiasty dwugłos
Drzewiasta dwugłosowa analiza Wegetarianki Han Kang uwzględnia kontekst intertekstualny, istotne odniesienia do twórczości Yayoi Kusamy oraz wcześniejszych tekstów noblistki, a także wybrane aspekty przekładowe kształtujące recepcję powieści w języku angielskim i polskim. Bazując na filozofii roślinności Michaela Mardera oraz koncepcji kłącza Gilles’a Deleuze’a i Félixa Guattariego, struktura tekstu odzwierciedla formę nielinearnego splotu. Wyprowadzone z kłącza przekładów tropy feministyczne, afektywne i roślinne, przecinając dyskursy oraz różne rejestry wrażliwości, wyrastają, by objąć mnogość form oporu i transformacji drzewiastych bohaterek.

Abstract:
“Roots are sprouting out of my hands” – the Rhizome of Translation of The Vegetarian and the Arborescent Duet
The arborescent duet of Han Kang’s The Vegetarian takes into account the intertextual context, important references to the work of Yayoi Kusama, and earlier texts by the Nobel laureate, as well as selected aspects of translation that shape the reception of the novel in English and Polish. Based on Michael Marder’s philosophy of vegetation and Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari’s concept of rhizomes, the text’s structure mirrors a non-linear, interwoven form. Emerging from this rhizomatic network of translations, feminist, affective, and vegetal tropes – intersecting discourses across multiple registers of sensitivity – sprout to capture the myriad forms of resistance and transformation embodied by the arborescent heroines.
