Abstrakt:
Paradygmat neuroróżnorodności w perspektywie teorii informacji
Artykuł proponuje odczytanie koncepcji neuroróżnorodności, a szczególnie etapu kontestowania/queerowania neuronormatywności w kontekście cybernetycznej teorii informacji. Główną tezą tekstu jest przekonanie, że cybernetyka jako transdyscyplinarna nauka o systemach poprzez stworzenie koncepcji informacji, zwłaszcza relacji między wzorcem a szumem, może być dzisiaj pomocna w kontekście myślenia o charakterze ludzkiego zróżnicowania kognitywnego. Wramach tej teorii wzorzec, czyli uznana treść informacji, stanowi jedynie arbitralny lub konwencjonalny nakaz, mający za zadanie redukcję przygodności, oddzielenie błędu od normy, szumu od wzorca. Najważniejszymi odniesieniami tekstu są: epistemologia szumu Cécile Malaspiny i teoria informacji w ujęciu Claude’a Shannona.

Abstract:
The Paradigm of Neurodiversity from the Perspective of Information Theory
This article offers an interpretation of the concept of neurodiversity, particularly the stage of contesting or queering neuronormativity, within the framework of cybernetic information theory. Its central argument is that cybernetics, as a transdisciplinary science of systems, and especially its conceptualisation of information through the relationship between signal and noise, can be helpful for reflecting on the nature of human cognitive diversity. Within this theoretical perspective, the pattern – that is, the recognised content of information – constitutes only an arbitrary or conventional imperative, intended to reduce contingency and to distinguish error from the norm, and noise from the pattern. The article’s main points of reference are Cécile Malaspina’s epistemology of noise and Claude Shannon’s theory of information.
