Abstrakt:
Kobieca neuroróżnorodność, kobieca potworność? O utopiach współczesnej literatury dysocjacyjnej
Artykuł bada literaturę dysocjacyjną (nazywaną niekiedy literaturą depresyjną lub unhinged girl fiction) – współczesny, maladyczny nurt literacki eksponujący głosy kobiet „szalonych” – jako przestrzeń narracji feministycznych, posthumanistycznych i utopijnych (w rozumieniu Muñoza). Na podstawie analizy motywów realizmu magicznego i horroru w powieściach: Nocna suka, Króliczek i Motherthing pokazuje, jak literatura dysocjacyjna dokonuje estetycznej subwersji wobec zjawiska neurodywergencji. Autorka tekstu podkreśla jej potencjał w tworzeniu alternatywnych narracji i myśleniu nowych światów, które wykraczają poza asymilacyjne, neoliberalne wizje neuroróżnorodności w kulturze współczesnej.

Abstract:
Female Neurodiversity, Female Monstrosity? On the Utopias of Contemporary Dissociative Literature
This article examines dissociative literature (also referred to as depressive literature or unhinged girl fiction) – a contemporary, maladic literary genre that foregrounds the voices of “mad” women – as a space for feminist, posthumanist, and utopian narratives (as defined by Muñoz). Drawing on an analysis of magical realist and horror motifs in the novels Nightbitch, Bunny, and Motherthing, it demonstrates how dissociative literature performs an aesthetic subversion of neurodiversity. The author emphasises its potential to create alternative narratives and imagine new worlds that move beyond assimilationist and neoliberal visions of neurodiversity in contemporary culture.
